Recurrence Patterns after Surgery in Patients with Different Endometriosis Subtypes: A Long-Term Hospital-Based Cohort Study
This study found that while recurrence time for endometriosis is independent of subtype, superficial peritoneal and ovarian endometriomas are more likely to recur as the same subtype, but a substantial proportion of patients show increased lesion severity in recurrent disease.
