Abstract

A endometriose é uma doença inflamatória crônica caracterizada pela presença de tecido semelhante ao endométrio fora da cavidade uterina, afetando cerca de 10% das mulheres em idade reprodutiva. Está fortemente associada à dor pélvica crônica, infertilidade e impactos significativos na saúde mental. Este estudo teve como objetivo analisar os impactos psicológicos e emocionais da endometriose associada à infertilidade em mulheres, por meio de uma revisão sistemática da literatura. Os resultados revelaram que a endometriose, além de seus sintomas físicos debilitantes, está associada ao aumento da ansiedade, depressão, estresse e queda na autoestima, sobretudo em mulheres com dificuldades reprodutivas. Esses efeitos emocionais afetam negativamente as relações pessoais, o desempenho profissional e a qualidade de vida geral. A literatura analisada destaca a importância de uma abordagem multidisciplinar que integre tratamento médico e suporte psicológico, com foco na integralidade do cuidado e bem-estar da paciente. Evidencia-se que a elevada prevalência da endometriose em mulheres em idade fértil, especialmente nos casos de infertilidade, onde as alterações anatômicas causadas por aderências pélvicas e as disfunções imunológicas desempenham um papel crucial. Conclui-se que estratégias terapêuticas integradas são essenciais para o enfrentamento dos impactos físicos e emocionais causados pela endometriose associada à infertilidade.
