This integrative review sought, through literature from major health databases, to identify non-pharmacological treatments for relieving pelvic pain in women diagnosed with endometriosis, selecting 10 full-text studies published in Portuguese, English, or Spanish within the previous five years. The review found that adherence to healthier lifestyle habits, particularly improved diet and engagement in physical activities, was associated with pelvic pain relief, and it also highlighted integrative and complementary practices as additional non-drug strategies within a holistic care perspective. A key limitation noted is that women may face barriers to adhering to these approaches, including socioeconomic factors, limited access to services offering such practices, and a shortage of trained professionals. This paper is centrally about endometriosis — it reviews non-pharmacological approaches for alleviating pelvic pain in women with endometriosis.
